Amanda Bettencourt, PhD, APRN, CCRN, ACCNS-P, FAANAssociate Professor, Department of Family and Community Health, University of Pennsylvania School of NursingDr. Amanda Bettencourt is an Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and Co-Director of the Penn Implementation Science Institute. A burn nurse for over 20 years, she has practiced as a staff nurse, nurse educator, CNS, and nurse manager across three ABA-Verified burn centers. She serves as Associate Program Chair of the ABA Annual Research Meeting and has served six years on the Verification Committee. Her research has received multiple top abstract awards from the ABA and been published in the Journal of Burn Care & Research, Burns, and the Journal of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and recent Past President of AACN. |
