Australian and New Zealand Burn Association Annual Scientific MeetingThe End Game: Victories and Challenges

13 - 16 September 2022

We are excited to welcome you to join us in Sydney for the 45th Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) of the Australian and New Zealand Burn Association (ANZBA) being held 13-16 September 2022.

With borders open and lockdowns over, we hope you will come and enjoy the sights and sounds of Sydney, and see all your colleagues face-to-face. We miss seeing you all! However if you are unable to join us in Sydney we hope to still see you online!

Our venue will be the amazing Sydney Luna Park. Situated on Sydney Harbour the conference centre at Luna Park provides breathtaking views whilst providing a professional area to learn, share and collaborate. With lecture halls, exhibition space and the amazing crystal ballroom for our end of conference dinner this will be an ASM to remember.

Our theme for 2022 is “The End Game: Victories and Challenges”. We want to look at our outcomes across our multidisciplinary teams. The amazing work that everyone is achieving and planning for our burn patients. We have all had our share of ‘Marvel’lous victories, and challenges, especially recently with disasters and pandemics. What have we learned? What can we share? International and local speakers will present a mix of ways to reach that endgame for our patients, families, and clinicians. There will be presentations and discussions around research, innovations, and current practice with a focus on both the physical and psychological outcomes.

We look forward to welcoming you all to the ANZBA ASM Sydney & Online 2022 😊
