Dr. Bernadette Nedelec

Dr. Bernadette Nedelec is an occupational therapist, a certified burn therapist, and a Professor at McGill University. She is a researcher at the Montreal Burn Center with more than 30 years of experience dedicated to burn survivor rehabilitation and the education of occupational therapy students. Her research has primarily examined the cellular and molecular biology of hypertrophic scarring, as well as the management of post burn functional and psychosocial sequelae. A central focus of her work has been the objective assessment of scar and functional outcomes following burn injury, providing a foundation for the quantitative evaluation of treatment interventions.
