TBRM Burn Director

Lieutenant Colonel (USAF) Eleanor Curtis is a burn and trauma surgeon and Burn Director for the Trauma, Burn, and Rehabilitation Medicine (TBRM) team at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. She has led the expansion of the SSMC Burn Unit toward a national Center of Excellence, advancing capacity, accreditation, and national burn standards in partnership with the UAE Department of Health. A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Curtis integrates clinical expertise and systems leadership to improve burn care delivery and patient outcomes across both U.S. military and international health systems.
