The role that lasers play in treating hypertrophic burn scars is just unfolding. We introduced laser therapy in 2014 and have grown a significant program which is both clinical and research based. This talk will review what is known about lasers in burn scars and tell the story of how and why we introduced this therapy and review our outcomes and plans for future study in this area.
