07:00 – 08:00 The Next Chapter in Surgeon-Led Innovation: MTX and MTX + BTM in Clinical Practice
Prof Roy Kimble, Prof Carl Lisec, and Dr Brendan O’Connor

BTM began with a surgeon identifying an unmet clinical need and partnering with PolyNovo to solve it. NovoSorb MTX is the next chapter in that story. In this breakfast session, Prof Roy Kimble (Queensland Children’s Hospital), Prof Carl Lisec (Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital) and Dr Brendan O’Connor (Townsville University Hospital) share their early experience with MTX; on its own and alongside BTM, across paediatric and adult cases, and reflect on what clinician–industry partnership can deliver for patients.

19:00 – 00:00 ASM Dinner: Golden Jubilee: A Night of Royalty
Fifty years deserves a celebration fit for a king – or queen, an icon, a legend. To mark ANZBA’s Golden Jubilee, we’re rolling out the red carpet for all kinds of royalty.
Think beyond the crown and the castle. Royalty is Beyonce commanding a stadium, it’s Cleopatra ruling the Nile, it’s Freddy Mercury owning every stage he ever set foot on. It’s the icon, the pioneer, the GOAT – anyone who has ever worn their throne with grace, power or a whole lot of sequins.
So dust off your finest, channel your inner legend and come dressed as the royalty you believe in – because after 50 golden years, this community has more than earned it’s crown.
